Born and bred in Sydney; Australia, Bonny started her career as an apprentice chef at Neil Perry’s Rockpool Bar & Grill where she worked for three years, learning to use only the best ingredients and how to cook over wood and charcoal.

Following this, Bonny appeared on Masterchef: The Professionals in 2012, where she became the youngest ever finalist aged 23. One of the shows judges, the formidable Marco Pierre White, encouraged Bonny to move to London and work on her own project. In 2013, Bonny worked at The Arts Club in Mayfair before following Marco’s advice and opening Balls & Company on Soho’s Greek Street in July 2015.

Specialising in a host of meatballs, sauces and seasonal sides, made with produce from suppliers Bonny is passionate about, the restaurant became a popular Soho spot. Following this success, Company Below, a botanical drinking den, opened below the restaurant in October 2016, where a selection of herbal cocktails and signature bar snacks are available.
